Cancelation Policy

At SYL Cleaning Services, we value your time and appreciate your respect for ours. The following Cancellation Policy ensures fairness and allows us to serve all clients efficiently.

1. Notice Requirement

Clients must provide a minimum of 24–48 hours’ written notice to cancel or reschedule a scheduled cleaning appointment.

Cancellation requests must be submitted by phone, email, or confirmed written message.

2. Late Cancellation Fee

If cancellation is made with less than the required notice:

  • A fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service price may be charged.

  • For same-day cancellations, up to 100% of the service fee may be charged.

This fee compensates for reserved time, scheduling coordination, and lost booking opportunities.

3. No-Show / Lockout Policy

If our team arrives at the scheduled time and:

  • Is unable to access the property

  • Is denied entry

  • Is turned away

  • Encounters unsafe conditions not disclosed

A lockout or no-show fee of up to 100% of the scheduled service may apply.

4. Recurring Services

For recurring cleaning clients:

  • Repeated cancellations (more than 2 within a 60-day period) may result in removal from our recurring schedule.

  • Pricing for recurring services may be adjusted if frequency changes.

5. Emergency Exceptions

We understand emergencies happen. In cases of genuine emergency (illness, severe weather, family emergency), cancellation fees may be waived at our sole discretion.

6. Company Cancellations

SYL Cleaning Services reserves the right to reschedule services due to:

  • Severe weather

  • Staff illness

  • Equipment failure

  • Safety concerns

In such cases, we will provide reasonable notice and prioritize rescheduling.

7. Agreement

By booking services with SYL Cleaning Services, you acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation Policy.
